The performance garnered an enthusiastic and appreciative response, and the hashtag "Beijing TV New Year's Eve" amassed an impressive reading count of nearly 8 billion on Sina Weibo.

The concert assembled powerhouse vocalists such as Cui Jian, Lo Ta-yu, and Alan Tam, awakening the audience's nostalgic memories with familiar melodies. This year's event was held at the iconic National Speed Skating Oval, known as the "Ice Ribbon", a venue from the Beijing Winter Olympics, marking the venue's inaugural appearance for a large-scale cultural event post-Winter Olympics.

Li explained that selecting the "Ice Ribbon", situated at Beijing's new landmark, aims to seamlessly blend the legacy of the Winter Olympics with cultural and sporting activities.
