"Have you ever thought of committing suicide? Come here once you seek the path to heaven." Upon logging on a website dubbed with thrilling music, this notice strikes your eyes. It's one of those suicide websites.

The self-killing guide websites illustrate various ways of suicide, with vivid depictions of respective feelings during different stages of the dying process.

More appalling, it even shows how to prepare for the various kinds of suicides and ranks those killing practices according to the levels of pain and convenience.

A dozen suicide websites have been spotted throughout the nation, and on average sees a high number of online visitors.

These suicide portals may lead to irrevocable tragedies, especially among mentally vulnerable minors, said psychologists, adding the relevant government body should take imminent action to prevent looming losses.

According to legal experts, this cyber death summon is against China's criminal law, which stipulates the assistance in death (including suicide) as a crime that is punishable by at least five years in jail.

China so far has an online population of 100 million, with the use of the Internet continuing to spread by leaps and bounds.
