Delegations of the six-party talks are discussing the joint document draft, said Japanese delegation head Sasae Kenichiro in Beijing Saturday afternoon.

He said China presented a joint document draft for the six-party talks.

Earlier an official with the delegation of the Republic of Korea (ROK), who was unwilling to be named, said deputy heads of the six delegations will discuss the draft.

Heads of the six delegations, namely, China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the United States, the ROK, Russia and Japan, held a no-more-than-one-hour meeting from 11:20 am Saturday, according to the press center of the talks.
