SAPPORO, Japan - China thrashed United States in straight sets 25-16, 25-17, 25-22 to snatch their seventh victory in a row, poised to defend the title of Women's Volleyball World Cup.
United States entered the match as the only other team yet to lose a match after winning six consecutive games.
