New cases push number of infected patients to 26 in Guangdong

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has risen to 26 in Guangdong as of Tuesday midnight.
Two new cases have been reported in Guangzhou, four in Shenzhen, one in Foshan and two in Shaoguan, according to provincial health commission.
Seven of the nine newly confirmed patients had lived or travelled in Hubei province, the epicenter of the outbreak. Two of the new patients are in serious condition.
By 12 midnight on Tuesday, 26 cases had been confirmed in Guangdong, including 14 in Shenzhen. One suspected case is under observation.
