Beijing continues to report COVID-19 cases at the community level, which means hidden transmission risks still exist in the city, Beijing Daily reported on Wednesday afternoon.
Beijing reported 17 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases as of 3 pm on Wednesday, among whom five were detected at the community level, according to official data.
Among the five cases, four are from the same workplace in Chaoyang district and the other one is from Pinggu district.
The authority will strengthen the control and management of people and places with infection risks, as well as provide supplies and services for those quarantined at home or in centralized locations.
