Vientiane welcomes China's cross-border tourism train

Grand Lao dances and music performance greeted more than 70 Chinese travelers and crew members on board the StarExpress, a cross-border tourism train, that reached Vientiane, Laos, on its maiden voyage on Thursday.

The train kicked off its journey on Tuesday from Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province.
