Known for its diverse selection of family-friendly hotels and entertainment options, the city has earned the reputation of being a "paradise for children", according to the travel website.

According to the company's search data, Sanya is experiencing a 176 percent year-over-year increase in inbound tourists for the upcoming new year travel peak, according to Anthony Lu, regional director for Southeast Asia and China at Booking.com, who spoke at a launch event for the 2025 travel predictions in the city on Thursday.
