Jinan metro introduces robot dogs for autonomous inspection
Jinan Metro Line 3 has recently launched technical testing of autonomous inspection robot dogs to enable intelligent, unmanned inspections.
The test focuses on multiple scenarios at a metro station, involving its platforms, concourses, and equipment rooms, and aims to replace manual tasks with the robot's autonomous patrol, inspection, and contactless remote monitoring capabilities.
Specifically, the robot's inspection range includes detecting potential hazards such as fire, water leaks, and abnormal odors, as well as monitoring equipment conditions like temperature, vibration, and sound.
In recent years, Jinan Rail Transit Group Co has been actively exploring and innovating in the field of intelligent operation and maintenance, developing a series of smart inspection robots for various scenarios, including stations, tunnels, and trains.
The company is advancing intelligent operations and maintenance by developing smart inspection robots and promoting industrial upgrades from single-point detection to predictive maintenance.
