Shanghai finds new music space for creation

A group of musicians in Shanghai are now finding a new music space for creation and expression at one of the city's landmarks, as the Music Bund signed a cooperation agreement with Global Harbor on Thursday.
With the concept of "fill the city with music," the newly launched music space is located on the 52nd floor of the Global Harbor in the Putuo district. The collaboration aims to make the space an open space for diverse music activities such as shows, concerts, flash mobs, festivals, jam sessions and innovative lessons. At a height of 258 meters, it also offers a fascinating, immersive view of Shanghai's skyline.

The Music Bund is a local brand and community in Shanghai, gathering a large crowd of the city's artists and musicians of various genres such as classical, jazz, musical and pop. They used to present random flash mob music shows across the city, and are ready to explore more beyond boundaries on "creativity" and tailor-made music services with this collaboration.
"We see office workers actually living a fast-paced life here, so we hope to offer them a chance and space to relax and release themselves. Also, we are expecting to draw more musicians, artists and music enthusiasts here together to inspire more ideas to better fill the city with music," said jazz musician and composer Huang Ye, brand director of Music Bund.
