TOKYO: From being the heartthrob of millions Noriko Sakai has become a fugitive.

Tokyo police have issued an arrest warrant against the Japanese singer-actress, who has been missing since her husband, Yuichi Takaso, was arrested on Aug 4 for alleged possession of drugs.

Their son, too, had been missing but was found safe in Tokyo on Thursday evening, media reports said on Friday.
