Mayor: Plant symbolizes model of greener growth

Baosteel Group will develop its steel complex in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, into a highly efficient, world-class facility, company officials said.

One of the nation's leading steel producers, Baosteel will lend the expertise of its staff to the project, which will one day become a base for innovation in advanced manufacturing, said He Wenbo, general manager of the group, during a meeting with top officials of the Zhanjiang government last month.
