China's air force has completed this year's plan to recruit 196 senior high school graduates as pilot trainees.

Sources with the military said the graduates were selected from 29 provincial areas and passed this year's national college entrance exams.

The graduates were also given scholarships by the Ministry of Finance, and will be trained in the air force's flight training college, said the sources.

The recruitment was completed on Tuesday.
