那位鋼琴老師說(shuō):She has high promise of a pianist(大有希望成為鋼琴家。) He has a great future to be a statesman.
;The report gives promise of a better tomorrow(經(jīng)濟(jì)低迷,前者未可樂(lè)觀,但是有報(bào)告指出“明天”會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)好。)
The sky gives promise of fine weather tomorrow可以更簡(jiǎn)單地說(shuō)成:The sky promises a fine weather tomorrow。
