10月18日，首屆中國(guó)中小企業(yè)博覽會(huì)今日順利在廣州開鑼。首屆“中博會(huì)”是一次層次較高、規(guī)模較大的盛會(huì)，共設(shè)展位1860個(gè)，8個(gè)行業(yè)展區(qū)，除西藏和臺(tái)灣外全國(guó)30個(gè)省區(qū)、直轄市和香港、澳門兩個(gè)特別行政區(qū)共1950家企業(yè)參展。廣東、黑龍江、山西、浙江、上海等省市派出了龐大的參展陣容。新華社報(bào)道如下：More
than 5,000 delegates from home and abroad have flocked to the capital of
South China's Guangdong Province to take part in the first fair for small-and medium-sized enterprises
(SMEs).
The fair, jointly organized by the National Development and Reform
Commission, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the
Guangdong provincial government, is showcasing the great achievements of
the country's SMEs.
Showcase做名詞表示“玻璃陳列柜，展示地”，其動(dòng)詞形式表示“展示，突出地展示，尤指為獲取利益”。例如：In the financial
services section, stock-trading desks had been set up showcasing the
computers.（在金融業(yè)務(wù)部門中，股票交易桌已被布置好展示計(jì)算機(jī)。）
據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，參會(huì)的國(guó)內(nèi)外采購(gòu)商共5000多家，其中包括24家全球500強(qiáng)及世界知名商貿(mào)企業(yè)，來自30多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的國(guó)際中小企業(yè)采購(gòu)商達(dá)1500多人。
