Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium near completion

經(jīng)過1000多個日夜的建設(shè)，天津奧體中心已經(jīng)進入工程收尾階段，即將展現(xiàn)在世人面前。這座形似水滴并以此得名的建筑，將成為天津新的標志性景觀。在今年的女足世界杯和明年的奧運會結(jié)束后，“水滴”的場館設(shè)施將向市民全部開放。

After over 1,000 days of construction, the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium is on its way toward inauguration.
The project, looking like a water drop, has become a landmark buildingin the co-host cityof the 29th Olympiad and a gateway to Beijing.
The Chinese women football team had a week-long training experience in the sports facility last week.The team members were so excited to see its sophistication.
The stadium, 380 meters long,270 meters wide and 53 meters high, can meet the standards of staging international football competitions and athletics.
Along with such affiliated facilities as big marketplace, exhibition hall, conference room and gym, the stadium is also able to provide the public with space for entertainment, exercises and shopping.
With ground-breaking taking place in August 2003, the 60,000-seat project has a land surface of 78,000 square meters. It will host Olympic football preliminaries.
