The Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region and the Beijing Aoshen Media Group invited nearly 50 professional photographers and photography enthusiasts who took part in a special Wudang Mountains tour from Nov 8 to 11, with the aim of capturing the beauty of the mountains in their photos and increasing awareness of Wudang as a travel destination.

Li Shaobai, a well-known Chinese photographer, gave tips to the participants during the tour.

Yang Danhua, deputy director of the Wudang Mountains management committee, welcomed the guests, and said he hoped that the photographers would capture the charm of the area and show it to the whole country.

In autumn, red maple trees can be seen all over Wudang Mountains amid light rainfall, and the ancient buildings and unique local culture inspired the visiting photographers, just as famous artists in previous centuries were inspired.

Li said he intends to write about Wudang Mountains in the near future, and the photographers were treated to a Tai Chi kung fu performance at the end of their visit.

Many online and print media organizations are expected to show the photos to the public.
