North China’s Shanxi province will grant a one-time award of 1 million yuan ($157,600) to the Shanxi-headquartered e-commerce enterprises with annual online sales over 100 million yuan.

Recently, Shanxi has issued 28 measures to incentivize consumption, including awards for e-commerce enterprises. Moreover, according to these measures, each of the province’s e-commerce demonstration counties will receive financial support of 18.5 million yuan.

The e-commerce enterprises will receive 70 percent subsidy allowances to the cost of promotion for cross-border e-commerce. Exhibitions with more than 20,000 square meters will also receive 200,000 yuan subsidies.

In addition, the province will organize promotion activities for Shanxi products. The consumption of new energy vehicles, tourism, culture, sports and elderly care were mapped out as focus in the 28 measures.
