A newly wed couple shows their marriage certificate in a registration office in Beijing on Dec 12, 2012. Many young couples plan to register to marry on Dec 12 of 2012 because it is widely believed triple twelve will bring luck. The number of new couples who registered to marry on Wednesday reached 4,700, twice the daily average, according to the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau.
