Southwest China's Chongqing municipality saw its foreign trade exceed 197 billion yuan ($30.7 billion) in the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 9.3 percent year-on-year, the city's customs authorities said Wednesday.

The municipality's trade with countries along the Belt and Road reached 56.9 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 13.4 percent.
