More than 50,000 people flocked to London's Hyde Park Friday night for a concert to celebrate the start of the 2012 Olympics.
Performers included Scottish musician Paolo Nutini, Duran Duran from England, Stereophonics, representing Wales, and Snow Patrol from Northern Ireland.
A large screen in the park showed the events unfolding at the Olympic stadium in Stratford, East London.
